The CAT 5e is an Ethernet cable with the capacity to offer gigabit Ethernet speeds of up to 100Mbps and a 100Mhz of bandwidth at a much shorter distance of 100 metres. While on the other hand, the CAT 6 Ethernet cable carries speeds of up to 10Gbps and bandwidth worth of 250Mhz at up to 55 metres.
